The Star, Sydney, Australia – The Advanced Dentistry Institute, based in Adelaide, has been awarded the top prize in the Education Services category at the 2025 Australian Small Business Champion Awards.
The Institute was selected from among 22 national finalists representing a range of educational fields, including early childhood, corporate training, and vocational learning.
Now in its thirteenth year, the Institute offers post graduate dental hands-on short courses focused on hands-on clinical training with live patients, particularly in implantology, endodontics, and oral surgery.
“This year’s winners stood out for the real-world impact they’re having on their industries,” said awards founder Steve Loe. “The Advanced Dentistry Institute’s focus on practical, skills-based learning is a strong example of that.”
ADI Founder, Dr Yohan Thomas, said, “It’s a real honour to be recognised for this award among so many educators, not just in the dental field. I’m really grateful to my team for the hard work they’ve put in creating a world-class product. We’ve been thrilled with the feedback from the many students who’ve travelled overseas with us to get this unique hands-on training.”
The award highlights the Institute’s role in addressing the demand for clinically focused professional education in dentistry and reflects a broader shift across health training towards applied, outcome-driven models.
